Upcoming CITB Courses
MBO Safety Services is now a CITB Approved eCourses Reseller! This means we can offer a wide range of accredited online courses designed specifically for the construction sector. Our CITB Learning Suite includes essential courses such as the Health & Safety Awareness eCourse. This one-day course is designed to help those who are about to or have just begun to work in the industry to understand the potential hazards they face on site. It covers health, safety, welfare, and environmental issues, and is an ideal foundation for those wishing to obtain an industry accreditation card.

Approval to Deliver CSCS Card Tests
We’re also proud to announce that MBO Training Centre has been approved to conduct tests for CSCS Cards! This marks a significant milestone for our organisation and brings numerous benefits to our clients and the construction industry at large. As an approved CSCS test centre, we offer a wide range of Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) tests, including tests for operatives, managers, professionals, and various specialist roles.

Upcoming Changes to the CSCS Card Scheme
Starting 1 February 2025, significant changes will be implemented in the CSCS card scheme. The initial validity period for Labourer cards will be reduced from five years to two years, and the validity of the CITB Health, Safety, and Environment test will be extended to three years. These changes aim to ensure that only those actively working as labourers hold the card and to reduce financial burdens on workers.
