CSCS Gold Skilled Worker Card

The CSCS Gold Skilled Worker Card is issued to individuals who have met one of the following criteria:

- Achieved a Level 3 Construction‑related NVQ/SVQ or an SVQ at SCQF Level 6.
- Completed an approved apprenticeship, such as those delivered through NJCBI, BATJIC, or the Institute for Apprenticeships.
- Completed an employer sponsored apprenticeship that included gaining a City & Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate.

Apply for a CSCS Gold Skilled Worker Card

To apply for your CSCS Gold Skilled Worker Card, please complete the following steps:

STEP 1. Complete the required Construction related qualification or NVQ Level 3 or SVQ at SCQF Level 6. 

STEP 2. If your CITB Health Safety & Environment (HS&E) Test is not within the last 2 years, book your CITB test at the level appropriate for your occupation.

STEP 3. Once you have completed STEP 1 & 2, you can apply for your CSCS Gold Skilled Worker Card.

Validation of a CSCS Gold Skilled Worker Card

• The CSCS Gold Skilled Worker Card is valid for five years.
