New CSCS Red Apprentice Card

The CSCS Red Apprentice Card is for any individuals who are on recognised Apprenticeships. Your employer or training organisation must submit evidence of your Apprenticeship and you must pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) Test, you can then apply for CSCS Red Apprentice Card.

Apply for a CSCS Red Apprentice Card

To apply for your CSCS Red Apprentice Card, please complete the following steps:

STEP 1. Obtain evidence of your enrolment on a recognised Apprenticeship or a training programme.                       

STEP 2. Book your CITB Health Safety & Environment (HS&E) Test.

STEP 3. Once you have completed STEP 1 & 2, you can apply for your CSCS Red Apprentice Card.

Validation of a CSCS Red Apprentice Card

• The CSCS Red Apprentice Card is valid for four years and 6 months.
• Upon expiry of the CSCS Red Apprentice Card, you are required to complete your Apprenticeship.
• You are required to apply for a Skilled CSCS Card.
• The CSCS Red Apprentice Card cannot be renewed.
