CSCS Red Industry Placement Card

The CSCS Red Industry Placement Card is intended for individuals completing a construction related qualification or training programme that includes a work placement of at least 30 days, such as T‑Levels or Foundation Apprenticeships. The CSCS Red Industry Placement Card does not progress to a skilled CSCS card. It is designed solely to support the work‑placement element of a individual’s training.

Apply for a CSCS Red Industry Placement Card

To apply for your CSCS Red Industry Placement Card, please complete the following steps:

STEP 1. You must be registered onto a qualification or training programme requiring a minimum of 30 days’ work placement.

STEP 2. Obtain evidence of your enrolment of your qualification or a training programme. 

STEP 3. Book your CITB Health Safety & Environment (HS&E) Test.

STEP 4. Once you have completed STEP 1, 2 & 3, you can apply for your CSCS Red Industry Placement Card.

Validation of a CSCS Red Industry Placement Card

• The CSCS Red Industry Placement Card is valid for three years.
• The CSCS Red Industry Placement Card cannot be renewed.
