COVID-19 How to get your business back to work?

In readiness for when the government eases lockdown, businesses owners and employers need to be prepared to open their doors. Now is the time to start thinking how you can operate your business but more importantly to continue operating with the social distancing measures in place.

There are THREE things you need to consider:

  1. BACK TO WORK – Look at different areas within your business and see where you can adopt the social distancing measures. You may have to eliminate certain services because they simply do meet the government requirements at this stage, however these services can be reviewed as and when further guidance is provided from the government.
  2. ASSESS THE RISK – Assess the risk within your workplace. Look at  the different areas within your business and assess how you can follow Public Health England guidelines (PHE) on social distancing. Can you maintain a 2 metre distance from others, and hygiene getting your workers to wash their hands with soap and water often for at least 20 seconds?
  3.  KEEP WORKERS SAFE – If your business cannot adhere to the PHE guidelines, your priority must always be to keep your workers safe.
