At MBO Safety Services, we are committed to helping organisations create safer, more resilient workplaces. This March, we are running our accredited First Aid at Work course at our Oswestry training centre, taking place from 9 to 11 March. This comprehensive programme equips delegates with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to respond confidently and effectively in a medical emergency.
Who Should Attend
The First Aid at Work qualification is designed for:
- Employees who have been nominated as workplace first aiders
- Individuals working in higher risk environments such as construction, manufacturing, warehousing, agriculture or engineering
- Managers, supervisors or team leaders responsible for staff welfare
- Anyone looking to gain a nationally recognised first aid qualification for professional or personal development
- If your workplace has identified a need for trained first aiders through its risk assessment, this course is the ideal solution.
Why First Aid at Work Matters
Having trained first aiders on site is not only good practice, it can make a critical difference in the event of an accident or medical emergency. Delegates will learn how to:
- Assess incidents quickly and safely
- Provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator
- Manage choking, bleeding, burns, fractures and shock
- Respond to a wide range of workplace injuries and illnesses
- Maintain casualty care until professional help arrives
These skills build confidence, reduce response times and can ultimately save lives.
Supporting Legal Compliance
Under the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Health and Safety Executive’s First Aid Regulations, employers must ensure they have adequate first aid provision in place. This includes having appropriately trained personnel who can provide immediate assistance if someone is injured or becomes unwell at work.
Our First Aid at Work course meets the requirements set out by the Health and Safety Executive, helping your organisation remain compliant while demonstrating a proactive commitment to employee welfare.
Limited Spaces Available
As always, we keep our class sizes small to ensure high quality, hands on training. Spaces for the 9 to 11 March course are limited, and demand is already high. If you would like to secure a place for yourself or a member of your team, we encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Oswestry premises and supporting your organisation in maintaining a safe, compliant and well prepared workplace.
