Delegates
This course is designed for personnel who have a legal duty to take care of the health and safety of moving vehicles at work.
Certificate
Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance. We recommend that this course is renewed every three years.

Overview
• Introduction – an overview of the course and discussion of attendees’ current level of knowledge.
• Health and Safety Law – an overview of the key Health and Safety Regulations that companies in the UK need to comply with including a discussion on the UK Legal System.
• Risk Assessment – an introduction to the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and the need for risk assessment and Safe Working Practices. This section includes designing a safe method of working for the Customers Operation.
• Safety signs and signals. The Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996 – an introduction into the Regulations around Banksman.
• Banksman Signals – a look at each signal and practical demonstration from the Regulations.
• Practical Assessment –An assessment of the Learners capabilities including reversing and safe movement of a vehicle in controlled conditions.
• Questions and Answers – time for attendees to clarify and query any of the points raised in the course plus the course quiz to test attendees’ knowledge.
